We didn’t set out to be master gardeners.
We just wanted more flowers in our lives—and less fuss.
Our Story
We are Jane and Melissa.
Two friends growing easy, low-maintenance flowers—and having a whole lot of fun doing it.
It started with Melissa wanting to fill her land with blooms. When her husband cut the budget, she got creative—trading seeds with friends, collecting from the wild, and even sweet-talking local farmers into letting her deadhead their fields-until their own gardens took off, and they were harvesting, and saving seeds right at home.
We beleive that growing flowers should be simple. No need to study soil pH or invest in fancy gear. You just need seeds, some sunshine, water, and a lot of curiosity.
Bend Seed Co started by a shared passion for making gardening accessible and joyful. It started in our living rooms, sorting seeds by hand and bonding over a shared excitement for starting something new.
We tested our seeds in our own backyards and, like little kids, got giddy with excitement when our flowers started to bloom.
We want to share the beauty that we have cultivated and we are overjoyed to share our wildflower seeds with you.
