Zinnia Seeds
Our Zinnia seeds produce a giant flower, in an array of rainbow colors. These long-lasting, spectacular blooms will dazzle in any garden, and are perfect for cut flower arrangements. Zinnias are an easy to grow Annual, that bloom from mid-summer until the first frost. They attract bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds, and are both deer and rabbit resistant.
Planting Zinnia Seeds
Plant within a month after the final frost. For fall planting, make sure you plant the seeds after the first killing frost to eliminate any chance of germination. Planting in the fall gives you a head start on spring blooms.
For smaller areas, hand-toss seeds. For larger areas, use a seed spreader to create a better cast of the seeds.
After the seeds have been sown, lightly compress the seeds into the soil about 2' apart, and 1/4″ deep to protect from birds and wind.
