Marigold Seeds
Marigolds are one of the most popular annual flowers on earth and ours are something special! With large, chrysanthemum-like, flowers in constant bloom, these Marigold bushes deliver a vibrant display of color throughout the summer and fall. Marigolds, have a very distinctive scent that acts as a natural pest repellent, making them a mainstay in both flower and vegetable gardens. They are simple to grow from seed, low maintenance, and fast-growing, making them some of the most rewarding flowers to grow.
Planting Marigold Seeds
Plant Marigold seeds after all threat of frost has passed. It’s recommended that you wait approximately one to two weeks after the final frost date.
Marigolds can also be sown indoors approximately 6-8 weeks before your final frost.
Marigolds are tolerant of most types of soil, but do best in dryer, sandy soil and enjoy warm, full sun conditions.
If Marigolds are planted in cool, shaded, or moist locations, they are susceptible to powdery mildew.
Plant seeds 1/16" deep, and 12" apart to avoid overcrowding.
