Calendula Seeds
Also known as Pot Marigold, Calendulas are an easy to grow, annual flower. Shades of golden yellow, and bright orange explode on long stems making them a beautiful flower for floral arrangements, and culinary use. Growing up to 24” tall, Calendula are perfect for borders, and a vibrant pop of color in landscape beds.
Planting Calendula Seeds
Calendula can be sown directly outdoors, after the threat of frost has passed, or started indoors in trays 3-4 weeks before transplanting to outdoors.
Plant Calendula seeds in rows, pressing 1/4" deep, allowing 8-10" of space in between. Covering the seeds with soil is important as sunlight can disrupt germination.
Seeds should germinate within a week.
